Guests arriving on Saturday are welcomed in Guatemala City before joining the main group on Sunday. This optional night provides additional flexibility for international travel and reduces the stress of flight schedules.

Scheduled departures take place during Guatemala's most pleasant months of the year. We recommend arriving in Guatemala City on the first day of the journey, and we'll provide detailed pre-arrival guidance, packing recommendations, and travel information before your departure.

The core experience lasts eight days and seven nights, including six full experience days. Guests may optionally arrive one day early to simplify international travel.

Previous Experience
No previous construction or volunteer experience is required. Training and supervision are provided by the International Esperanza Project.

Participants must be at least 14 years old.
